This week I picked up some essentials, and some little treats too! I will share them with you and review them along the way!
The reason I went out was to repurchase my near-empty foundation. For the past few months, I wore Lancome's Teint Miracle in 010. It was running out, so I repurchased it in shade 005- even though I was matched to 010 by the assistant in the store last time, it was too dark for me. 005 is the palest shade they do, and finally I'll be able to have a perfect match!
I love the formula of this foundation- it's very soft, it gives a perfect dewy glow, and it smells wonderful. I like to apply it with my Real Techniques stippling brush, and top it off with my MAC studio fix powder! It cost me £28.50 at Debenhams.
At Boots, No. 7 vouchers are rife! With purchases, you will receive a voucher for £5 off No. 7 Skincare, and £3 off No. 7 Makeup! I decided to spend the skincare voucher on this Eye Makeup Remover. It's a shake-to-activate oil remover, so when you wear heavy eye makeup, it will remove it easily. I've not actually had a chance to use it yet, but I hope it will work fine! It cost £8.50, so with the voucher, it cost me £3.50.
There was a "buy two makeup products, get a free gift box", so I also indulged in that! This Nourishing Nail and Cuticle Care Cream was classed as a makeup product. I was in need of a new nail cream, as my Nailtiques one is running out. This cost me £6, so £3 with the voucher.
I picked up this No 7 Pop and Glow Cream Blush. I was really intrigued about this product! It was also available as a highlighter of the same formula, however that was completely sold out, so I bought this blusher instead. It was available in three colours: Rose Blossom (above), Mango Sorbet, and Classic Rose. The classic rose was quite dark when I swatched it, so I passed on it and instead opted for this bright blossom colour.
The formula is very interesting! It applies as a cream, and it blends very well. It feels like a powder once it has set. I absolutely love this product, and I will definitely try and get a hold of the highlighter stick too. It cost me £9.95.
Buying the blusher activated the secret gift! It's a limited edition sakura-themed gift box. Firstly, the packaging is absolutely adorable! I love the cherry-blossom pink combined with the teal blue.
Inside the tissue paper are four products!
This is a small version of the Skin Illuminator Radiance Boosting Beauty Fluid. The full sized product is £11. This is a gentle highlighter, it would be perfect for those who only would like a subtle glow. It's peach-toned, so it wouldn't be too harsh.
I also received this High Shine Lip Crayon! It has a twist-up function, and I received the colour "Delicate Pink". It usually costs £9. I really love this colour- it's truly a delicate shade, and the pink is so wearable.
It has a creamy consistency and it has a noticeable pigmentation. The above swatches are from just one layer of application. This product, however, definitely sits on your lips rather than sinks in, so I would advise a tint or liner as a base before this product, for optimal lasting power.
I received this small sized Exceptional Definition Mascara. The full size costs £11.50. This product is great for defining your individual lashes. It doesn't clump at all, but it's not crazy-lengthening. You can see that the bare brush is actually yellow, so you can see each time how much product is on your brush.
This cute tiny shadow was the last product in my box! It's a gentle taupe colour which would be great as a base lid colour. It's a soft powder, and I love the shine when exposed to flash.
I hope you liked my mini review and haul! I hope your week was great too ❀ follow me on bloglovin if you'd like an email alert every time my blog updates! ♡
