Review | Korean Cosmetic Haul

I was browsing around on eBay a few weeks ago and decided that once and for all I would order some Korean Cosmetics. I've seen countless reviews of much-raved about brands such as Skin Food, Etude House, Tony Moly, and more. Some say they're the best in Asia!

I've tried out lots of Japanese cosmetic brands, and I love them to death- my favourite is Majolica Majorca! However, I wanted to give some new ones a try, so I ordered a few products that caught my eye.

Lioele L'Cret Miracle Magic Lipstick in 04 Refreshing Yellow | £4.49

The first product I bought was this Lioele L'Cret Miracle Magic Lipstick in 04 Refreshing Yellow. Cost £4.49.

It's a colour change lipstick which is meant to adjust to suit your skin tone. I've tried only one before- Barry M's TMLP. It's a green lipstick which applies a hot violent pink. It doesn't really suit me very well.

Though the Yellow colour claims to colour-change to Orange on the lips, it actually comes out as a soft pinky red. This wasn't what I was expecting! I was looking forward to a coral lipstick, however I was not really surprised with the outcome. I think it's safe to say I'll never find a colour change lipstick which works as it's supposed to :< !

Lioele Stick Eyeshadow in 05 Gold | £3.49

The next product I got was also from Lioele! It's this stick eyeshadow. I really like creamy eyeshadows, so I was excited to try out this new product.

This product is really cute! I purchased it in 5. Gold for £3.49.

The pigmentation is build-able. It's not extremely creamy, and it would be difficult to get a thick application with a brush. It is a little shimmery, and the range has many cute colours!

I'd definitely be happy to try more!

TONY MOLY Fresh Aqua Cooling 24 Eyes Stick 9g | £4.49

TONY MOLY is a really popular brand lately! Known for their adorable packaging featuring animal motifs, they're much sought after. I didn't buy any of their cosmetics, however I did buy this eye stick!

If you work mainly digitally like I do, your eyes may ache from time to time. It's nice to give them a rest with this product.

The blue gel is very cooling and refreshing, and also moisturising too! It really helps to soothe, and it's a nice wake-up technique for the morning too!

Etude House Drawing Eye Brow in #3 Brown | £2.60

This pencil is absolutely amazing. It has really blown me away! For only £2.60, too!

I have very long, unruly brows. They're not exceptionally thick, it's just that each individual hair is so long!

The pencil glides on, and the angled shape allows precision. This will be my go-to brush for a long time!

The pencil features a twist-up mechanism, so it will never dull. There is a brow brush on the other end to help groom.

I would complain about the colour range- there are no blonde tones available. I chose the lightest shade, brown.

Etude House Tear Drop Liner in #1 Innocent Tear | £4.55

This liner is gorgeous! It's designed to be worn on your inner corner and lower lash line, to highlight your tear bags. Tear bag or 'aegyo sal' makeup is designed to make your under-eyes seem puffy. It sounds undesirable, but it's actually really cute! You can see the effect strongly in this photo of my friend Miyake! →

The pigmentation is lovely, and the iridescent shine is perfect for highlighting your eyes and making them softly sparkle!

Etude House Secret Beam Highlighter in #1 Pink and White | £5.80

I've been on the hunt for a powder highlighter for a while, so this is a godsend. The packaging is a simple compact with cute holographic lettering. The highlighter features a blend of white, pink, purple, green, and beige tones.

The product is a little hard to pick up with a brush- you have to swirl it a lot to pick up an adequate amount. But it looks absolutely lovely when applied! I like to apply it to my cheekbones, forehead, chin, and a little on my nose tip! It really helps your face to glow♥

Etude House Woo Baby Lip Plumper in #1 Clear Volume | £4.61

As you can see, the packaging is absolutely adorable! The product is a clear blue minty-feeling gloss. The applicator feels like jelly, it's very easy to use and apply.

I applied my volume gloss over a red lip tint. If I'm honest, this isn't extremely plumping. It comes in second to my ELF Plumping Gloss, which is really good. However, the shine is wonderful, and it's useful to have a really glassy clear coat.

I also received some free samples!

3x Etude House Nutrifull Shea Butter Cream

1x Etude House BB Cream

1x Etude House Colagen Moistfull Cream

2x Etude House Like 20 Finishing Cream.

I haven't used all of them yet- but I have used the Moistfull, and Like 20 creams. Moistfull was the first I had used, and I absolutely loved it. I think I will purchase the full size when I next need a moisturiser. The Like 20 cream was lovely, however it didn't blow me away. I'm not even 20 yet, so I don't think it will work until I'm 2 years older ( ・ิω・ิ)

All in all, I found a lot of new products and brands that I really like. I hope this was useful to you if you've been thinking about trying out some Korean cosmetics! I bought all of these products myself, and this post isn't sponsored in any way. I bought them from eBay seller f2plus1.
