TENTEN's debut collection featured unique and stylish menswear.

Soft tulle accents and gently coloured tartan introduced typical feminine ideas into well-tailored menswear

TREND REPORT

  • Tartan print
  • Above-ankle cut trousers
  • Eccentric outerwear with a simple shirt showing through

I felt TENTEN's designs to be extremely angelic and ethereal. I loved the colour themes, the cut of the clothing, and the overall styling. I was extremely impressed, especially being that this is TENTEN's first collection, and I am excited to see what they will bring next.

VIANAD

We are immediately greeted with a dynamic prints and accessorising.

IMG_1247.jpg

It is clear that Vianad is a master of colour, with carefully chosen S/S tones radiating through the collection.

IMG_1267.jpg

This shirt features many elements; chiffon sleeves, a chiffon back, a fur midriff pannell, coiled designs on the front, and a shaped neckline.

The fabrics feature paintings, however when displayed as clothing they distort, turning classical art into abstract.

TREND REPORT

  • Classical painting prints
  • Tailored collared shirts
  • Chiffon panelling
  • High waists

VIANAD's collection was extremely captivating. There was so much to look at in each coordinate. Innovative cuts of fabric showed new silhouettes, and the technical knowledge and use of colour was visible throughout.

SEi

SEi's collection was the first designer I saw who really pushed the boundaries of fashion in this show.

Walking barefoot, in a head-to-toe crocheted bodysuit, complete with matching headpiece

Continuing the bodysuit theme, this variety is opened at the front, revealing a crocheted cropped-top and a multicoloured high-waisted bottom. The ensemble appears to be entirely made of wool, except for the headpiece, which this time is made from geometric squares of what appears to be chiffon and cotton.

Again utilising natural textures with knitted garments, this eye-catching coordinate had every camera snapping. Featuring crocheted pants, a knitted long-sleeved dress, a knitted scarf, all topped with a pointed headpiece.

One of my favourite coordinates, this outfit features a dreamy blend of colour mixed with crochet, and real natural elements.

IMG_1443.jpg

The combination of chaotic form and flowing geometry is perfectly balanced. While the scarf top-piece may otherwise be considered topheavy, it is needed to counter the grand maxi skirt.

TREND REPORT

  • Natural fibres
  • Pastel colours
  • Blended knits
  • Geometric gentle fabric
  • Dreamy concept

I absolutely adored SEi's collection, and I'm sure many of you will too. The unique movement of fabric and texture is absolutely captivating, and combined with the pastel colours, it adds a youthful and vibrant feeling to it.
